What does retainer include?
The retainer fee covers a number of things. You are paying for my time and talent at the session, time to edit your portraits and years of experience. Retainers are non refundable.
What is the best way to get a hold of you?

Where can I have my session?
I am up for just about anything! I love fields, old houses/barns. Make a suggestion and I am sure we can make it happen! If you are interested in studio shots for your newborn-4 year old, I have a studio located at 325 Williams Lane in Rayville, LA. I have a lot of fun props and backdrops so we can get a lot of variety.
What should we wear?
This is something where you really need to think about what you are looking for out of your session. Do you want photos for your living room, entertainment room, etc? What colors go in those rooms? I love fun bright outfits with BIG color!! But I also love long flowing timeless dresses and sweet overalls. I do always suggest staying away from pinstripes or shirts with things written on them.
Do you supply prop or outfits?
Yes I have a few, or you can bring your own. Please contact me in advance to see what I have available in your child’s size. (My Stash is CONSTANTLY Growing!)
What happens if my child is sick?
Let’s reschedule! Please don’t think bringing a sick child will result in happy smiling faces in your portraits. I want you to be extremely happy with your portraits and I want to capture your family at their best!!
What if it rains?
We can reschedule your session if you booked an outdoor session. Rain or shine I will be ready for you in the studio. If it’s tornado weather let’s reschedule. 😉
How long do your sessions last?
The average session is 1 hour but sometimes run 2 hours. This is with time added for clothes changes, location/backdrop changes, potty breaks as well as snack breaks. With newborns you should expect at least 2-3 hours. A lot of that is allotted for feedings and waiting for the baby to fall asleep.
Can I bring my camera too?
No, It gets way too confusing when more than one camera is involved. So please leave your camera at home.
How many people can I bring?
Your session fee covers immediate family members only with additional members being $10 per person.
What is your turnaround time?
I soft proof (minor tweaks to images, not fully edited) in 2 weeks, sometimes sooner. Images are put online for 2 weeks for you to choose your favorites for final editing. A rehost fee of $25 is applied if images are not chosen in 2 weeks.
Do you accept credit cards?
You Bet!!! Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Checks, money orders and cash are welcome too!
Do you do any further edits to photos?
I am an artist and these are my creations. Extra edits to photos such as slimming, etc will incur hourly editing rates.
Do you offer Refunds?
Due to the custom nature of photography, refunds aren’t allowable on session fees or products.
